In a world dominated by rational goals and common sense, we have not only forgotten to listen to our heart, we have forgotten how to listen to our heart. In other words, our Tiger is asleep. This blog is dedicated to waking up the tiger in each of us.

YOUR personal revolution

The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first.

very dramatic + very true

Do not let your fire go out.
Replace an irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the 'not quite', the 'not yet', and the 'not at all'. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonley frustrations for the life you deserve but never been able to reach.
The world you desire can be won, it exists, it is real, it's possible, and it's yours.

its in YOUR hands

Today SchoolAid [in conjunction with The Vodafone Foundation and their ad agency Host] launched a campaign empowering kids to make a stand by taking action on cyber-bullying.
As a SchoolAid Board member, I was especially keen to get this campaign up and running. Edith Cowan University and The University Of South Australia conducted a study on bullying in 2009 among 7,000 kids, and concluded that “bullying is an epidemic” that effects one in three kids. They reported how victims of bullying show social withdrawal, nervousness, depression and a decline in academic performance.

They also reported how 2 out of 3 kids feel things stay the same or get worse after telling an adult or a teacher they have been bullied [which is why our campaign is targeting and empowering kids to make their own stand against bullies and bullying].
The bottom line is that kids bullying other kids is the most destructive and life- damaging thing one kid can do to another kid. As someone who is committed to realising the full potential and building the self-esteem of every person on the planet, there's just no place or space for bullying in my world.
So if you have or know any primary school kids, and no matter where in the world you live, please direct them to our curethebullies website and have them pickle their 'bullies virus'.

brand YOU

We have all got both light and darkness inside us. What matters is the power we choose to action. That's who we really are.

may the force be with YOU
Each morning we turn the door handle and walk out into a larger world.Turning the door handle can be a moment of adventure or dread. Of anticipation or anxiety. Of purpose or habit.
Whatever the moment, what is helpful is to turn the door handle with some sense as to what is the inner force that drives and motivates you.
To believe that this force exists, and to be able to tap into it - that's a great start.
