I think we can't go around measuring our 'goodness' by what we don't do - by what we deny ourselves, what we resist and who we exclude.
I think we've got to measure 'goodness' by what we embrace, what we create, and who we include.

One day can make your life.
One day can ruin your life.
All life is, is four or five big
days that change everything.
It’s amazing how some people just say the smallest little things -- one sentence -- and it changes the way you feel about them in an instant.
Small little words that can hurt you so much, or make you fall totally in love with them. It changes everything, and nothing between you is ever the same again [even if they don’t know it].
Welcome to our society.
If you're quiet and reserved, you're an emo. If you're loud and outgoing, you're a seeker of attention.
If you say something nice about yourself, you're egotistical. If you don't, you're just fishing for compliments.
If you follow the trends, you're boring. If you do things differently, you're weird.

If you don't have sex until you're 18, there's something wrong with you. If you do, you're a slut.
If you're fat, you probably stuff your face all the time. If you're slim, you clearly suffer from some form of eating disorder.
If you do all your work, you're a nerd. If you fail your exams, you're just plain dumb.
You will be judged on what you wear, which music you listen to, what you look like, how you act, who you hang out with, and on practically every other personal trait and/or so-called imperfection about you.
Most importantly, you'll be made fun of for being who you are.
Enjoy your stay.
That’s when you know you’ve found somebody really special: you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably share silence.
